Stefanie began her career in healthcare in 2009 as a labor and delivery nurse and for the past eleven years has worked in Texas, Virginia, and Germany.
In 2012, she became a certified lactation counselor and since has proudly guided mothers toward achieving their breastfeeding goals. Her healthcare educational studies began at the Medical College of Georgia in August, GA where she received her bachelor’s in nursing before advancing in her education with a Masters in Midwifery in 2018 and later a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2019. Originally from Germany, she has called many places home while serving as a proud member of the United States of Army.
Prior to Midwifery, she worked in labor and delivery, deepening her knowledge and experience of working with parents to enhance their childbirth experience. In February 2020, she retired from the US Army but continues her passionate partnership with patients to achieve their childbirth goals. She has three adult children and one granddaughter.
